Apple and leading app developers are teaming up with Product (RED) to raise money toward the goal of achieving an AIDS-free generation. Developers of 25 top games and other apps have released limited-edition updates for the campaign, and all proceeds from (RED) sales and in-app purchases will go to the Global Fund to fight AIDS.
Besides changing their app icons to the color red, popular favorites like Angry Birds and Clash of Clans have unlocked new levels, new themes, and other special (RED) items. Kim Kardashian: Hollywood will debut family member Kris Jenner to the game’s in-app world on December 1, marking World AIDS Day.
Several non-gaming apps are pitching in too. Popular productivity app Clear has a new (RED) theme available, and users of the top drawing app Paper can enjoy a new (RED) essentials pack. Star Walk 2 introduced a new RED Planet feature, and Kitchen Stories Recipes is offering a special holiday-edition recipe pack.

Besides organizing developer support for the Apps for (RED) list, Apple is also joining in to support the cause by donating a portion of sales on two popular shopping days, November 28 and December 1.
